Portland's real estate market is hot - especially for sellers.  There's no doubt.  Well priced, well cared for homes are selling fast, often with multiple offers above asking price.  Here's why:

• Interest rates are still at historic lows which means buyers can afford more
• The number of homes on the market in Portland is at historic lows
• Home prices are stable and going up
• The Portland economy is strong
• Buyers are ready, willing and able to buy!

My advice to buyers is to jump in now while prices are good and loan interest rates are incredible!

 

For sellers – why wait?  With fewer homes on the market your competition is low.  And there are serious buyers looking for homes.
